Neuropsychologists work with children and adolescents who have academic, attention, behavioral, or (neuro)developmental difficulties, particularly in cases where disorders such as attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADD\/ADHD), developmental coordination disorder (DCD), or other related disorders are suspected. Neuropsychological work aims to better understand the cognitive profile of the child or adolescent, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and explain the origin of their difficulties. The neuropsychological assessment is then used to guide educational accommodations and therapeutic follow-up.<\/p><p><strong>A neuropsychological assessment is individualized and adapted to the child's age and difficulties. It may explore :<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Attentional functions<\/li><li>Executive functions<\/li><li>Memory functions<\/li><li>Practical functions<\/li><li>Visuospatial functions<\/li><\/ul><p>Neuropsychologists also conduct intellectual assessments (IQ tests), particularly in cases of suspected intellectual disability, high intellectual potential (HPI), or requests related to speech therapy reimbursements.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33
